Shark Cove, Mi. - The reports began trickling into the BN News Room on Tuesday afternoon.

Up until that point, there had been no reports of what had happened during this weeks edition of the Koffee Klutch Tour de Gull and inquiring minds wanted to know if there had been a ride, how many showed up, the usual "stuff."

First, Hoosier Boy reported in that he had experienced a flat tire near the Rt. 43 stop and stated that Mad Dog, Cannon, Stingray and Brewman stayed with him to get him back to the Klutch.  When asked how many riders had taken part in the ride he replied that he would guess between 15-20. In answers to questions from Belo News, Hoosier Boy wanted to make sure that the Minions who stayed with him were recognized and he was appreciative that they got him back to the Klutch!

A later report stated that the lead  groupo had lost the flat tire Minion Group after the col de Norte and called back to the second group on a cell phone to make sure they were O.K. but got no answer.

CHALK TALK - When Minions are missing, the Nation goes back to find them! Remember, we leave no Minion behind and we thank Brewman, the Cannon, Mad Dog and Stingray for staying back.  It is also important for Minions who experience a mechanical make sure they shout it out and if riders are dropping off to go home or back, to let the Nation know it.  Remember, "We leave no Minions behind!"

Belo News is pleased to report that Gazelle Girl reclaimed the GGG Spot sprint in an incredibly slick move as she realized no one was getting positioned for the sprint and she went by quickly, pedaling her you know what off to take her name sake sprint. She was quoted as saying "It was a victory for America!"

Belo News has also learned that Mad Dog won the second group sprint but no report was received concerning the lead group and who won.

Belo News also is aware that the second group made it back to the Klutch to enjoy a kup with Toast,
Gazelle Girl (file photo)
the Green Hornet, B-Rod and Gazelle Girl, who was feeling so good about her GGG Spot victory, (and the fact there were only 3 riders with her) bought the koffee! Is this a great country or what?!?

TOUR DE TAYLOR JUNE 15, 2013

B-ROD LOOKING FOR OTHER MINIONS TO RIDE

Belo News
May 229, 2013

Galesburg, Mi. - Last year was the inaugural of the Tour de Taylor ride and several Minions, including Sharkman and Lava Girl took part.  This is a fund raiser for Team Taylor and their quest to raise funds for the Make a Wish Foundation and the WAM ride coming up in July.  Many of the Nation are also members of Team Taylor and our own Sharkman has ridden with the team on the WAM three times.

Because of the close relationship of the mighty Minion Nation and Team Taylor, there will be no ride on June 15, 2013 so the Nation can take part in this great ride!

Unfortunately, Sharkman cannot ride this year due to a family obligation in Illinois, but he is encouraging the Nation to go to the attached site and sign up today because B-Rod is looking for other Minions to do the 62 (100K) ride with.  Last year many of the Nation rode the 62 mile ride together and reported having a great time followed by an incredible catered lunch.  There are also 12 and 31 mile courses.

So B-Rod will be looking for other Minions at the start and next week, we hope to report a meeting place and time for the Minion launch, but don't wait Bunkie, sign up now!

Tour de Taylor, June 15th! http://www.tourdetaylor.org/

Be there!
