Shark Cove, Mi. - Our intrepid hero, the Sharkman, spent last week at a Lava Girl Family Re-union in Lindenhurst, Illinois while approximately 20 Shark Minions not only rode the field of dreams known as the Koffee Klutch Tour de Gull (KK-TdG), but add a few miles to take in a brief tour of the Gilmore Car Museum as well.

Though the editors of Belo News were not able to get much information on the ride, there did seem to be a side story on the mode of dress Mad Dog was in and his hiding behind Zyckmann during the group photo.

But the big news of the week is that our intrepid hero, the Sharkman, will be not only be returning to his beloved Nation this week, but will actually be leading the much anticipated “B” Group! Is this a great country or what?!?

Though he claims he will be doing the leading from the rear of the peloton, he wants to ride!

Originally, Belo News reported two different times for the start of the A and the B groups, however, Mad Dog, thinking “outside the box” has come up with a better idea!

So, the Saturday, both the A and the B groups will start at 8:00 A.M. - SHARP!

After all starting together, when the mighty Minion peloton gets to HJ Avenue, the A group will turn right and go over to the finishing stretch on 37^th Street while the B group continues on the regular route. The A Group will head south on 37^th Street to M-96, then go west and return to 36^th Street and then do the regular route. By Mad Dog's calculations, the extra miles that the A group puts in should put them about 15-20 minutes behind the B group and hopefully put them close together for the finish! So both groups will hopefully start and finish at the same time!

Good thinking Mad Dog! Now, if this only works!

The B group will probably be in the 16-17 mph range for the route. This will give Sharkman an opportunity to ride himself back into shape and for those who have been off the bike or just wanting to slow their ride down a bit, to get back in the Nation! So come on out and ride this weekend!

In celebration of Sharkman's return to the Nation, it has been declared “Shark Minion Jersey Day!”

So break out the Shark Kit and ride!
