Galesburg, Mi. – It is hard to believe that on the night after the “Blizzard of 2011” we would be talking about the "End of Winter" Party, the Pole to Pole Race Party AND Opening Day, but here we are!

Yes, it is time for the Mid Winter Update!

OPENING DAY MARCH 12, 2011

Galesburg, Mi. – Tradition is that Opening Day is ALWAYS the second Saturday of March and this year is no exception. Mark your calendars now for the big day and start training! Also, start praying that the snow will stop soon so the Minions can actually ride!

POLE TO POLE RACE EXTRAVAGANZA ON FEBRUARY 26!

Gull Lake, Mi. – Our own Zickman is suffering a bit of cabin fever. So what better way to break out of the winter doldrums than to have a Pole to Pole Race? And you’re invited! Is this a great country or what?!? And there will be prizes! Oh, the humanity!

So here it is, from the Zickman his self!

Hello Minion Nation! - In an effort to embrace our winter weather and have an excuse to drink during the day, I am hosting a party/race at 11am Sat Feb 26th

The Race: Pole to Pole - from my flagpole to the Country Club's flagpole (1 mile) and back on the frozen Gull Lake!

2 Divisions: wheeled; bikes, skateboards - no motors
Non-wheeled; skis, snow shoes, skates, feet

The Prize: Beer and Brats, Bells on tap and 6 packs for fast Minions!
Brats for All!

This event will take place no matter what the weather or ice conditions are, so come prepared!
